How to access SYNC using a browser / HTTPS
If you are using the service for the first time and an account has been created for you, please follow the Activate your SYNC account guide.
Please note: If accessing the portal via HTTPS/Web we ask that you do not use Microsoft Internet Explorer, and instead use of of the following to access the site: Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera or Safari and ensure that it is up to date to the latest version. If you are downloading large files, or using a slow/unstable connection we suggest using SFTP. If you are unfamiliar with SFTP find a guide here
Browser / HTTPS
1. Enter your username and password.

2. If this is your first login you will be greeted with an empty Home directory.

Upload a file
1. To upload a file, select "Upload a File", then select "Browse". Select the file you want to upload and finish by selecting "Submit".

2. When your file has finished uploading, it will now appear in your home directory.

Download
1. To download a file, click on the file you want to download. You should then be greeted with an option on where you want to save the document.

2. To download multiple files at once, select the files you want to download and select "Download Zip". You should then be greeted with an option on where you want to save the document.

3. All files are encrypted. To open the downloaded file. Go to the downloaded file's location, right-click on the file and select 7-Zip, and select "Extract here" if you want to extract the file to the exact location as the download or "Extract files" to allow you to choose a new location for the extracted files. For this example, we are using "Extract here"

Enter the password that was given to you for the file. This is a unique password that will change for every data file and is not the same as your log-in password.
